Maui
Maui is the first episode of the series. Tune in as Nashville’s edgy sweetheart, singer-songwriter Nikki Lane joins Lukas Nelson in his home of Maui. Nelson gives a unique insider’s glance, taking Lane to the surf spots, restaurants, and the venue that shaped his career and life at an early age.
Nelson discusses the impact of travel on his creative work, saying, “Being on an airplane is a good time to write for me because I tend to have a melody in my head. So when I'm in the air and am away from it all I can focus in and get that general melody and lyrics down. Then I can go anywhere and finish it.”
Lukas' friends, singer Lily Meola and her brother, surfer and fisherman Matt Meola, and many more join the episode and give a real glimpse into the aloha spirit.
