Mike Burke
Mike Burke participated and rose to the top in Southwest: On The Rise to Live In The Vineyard 2018.
Described as a cross between Chris Cornell, Chris Stapleton, and Ray Charles, Mike Burke is a singer-songwriter with soul, rock, and country influences. As a solo artist and multi-instrumentalist, Mike has toured nationally playing smaller iconic venues such as The Bitter End, Hotel Cafe, and Joe's Pub to performing larger stadiums like Nationals Park and The Staples Center. He has also toured Internationally performing at MIDEM in Cannes and Fete de Musique in Paris. Growing up in a musical family from Boston, Mike started writing and playing at a very young age. The genres of music he listened to growing up included Country, Hip Hop, Soul, Doo-Wop, Rock and The Blues, all of which can be heard in his music and seen in his performances today. He has been named a “Writer to Watch” by Nashville Songwriters Association International several times and has garnered a dedicated following for both his music and his philanthropy. His song "If We Could See" which was the title track off his second album won Song Of The Year at the 2012 Malibu Music Awards. Mike is currently working on his third EP which will be released late 2018.
