I grew up in a small town outside of Boston that most haven’t heard of. We had a general store, a deli and 2 street lights. However, what we lacked in size or population, we made up for in heart. My hometown was built on 3 things; hard work, community and helping others. My hometown was a blue-collar working town where everyone knew each other. If something went wrong, people were there to help. If a family needed food, others would step in to cook for them. Growing up this way shaped who I am, the values I stand for and in turn, the music that I write. It also was the driving force in leaving my finance career on Wall st. knowing I could inspire others by pursuing music. I have traveled the world playing music and spreading the values that my hometown instilled in me. From a festival in Paris to a small bar in Georgia, I try to inspire others to work hard and help those in need along the way. Think of others not as strangers, but as part of your community. My song, If We Could See, hopefully inspires others to do the same.
